It is installed inside the main NIM module and directly connected to dual redundant UCN A and B coaxial network cables to complete encoding and decoding of UCN proprietary control network signals. This board undertakes all underlying physical layer communication tasks of the UCN bus, including real-time receiving process data from field controllers and I/O nodes, uploading data to LCN operator stations, and issuing control commands downwards. Built-in link fault detection circuit continuously monitors cable open circuit, short circuit and signal attenuation abnormalities; once the active network path fails, it triggers seamless automatic switching to the standby redundant channel without interrupting industrial process control. Equipped with multi-group status LED indicators for rapid on-site troubleshooting of network communication failures.
